Since its inception in 2002, Gobi has been a strong believer in hypothesis-driven investing. Instead of following where the market takes us, chasing the latest hot trends, we stay true to our core, stick to what we know, and invest only in what we believe. This is reflected every day in the way we do business.

The value of strategic partnerships cannot be understated – they are critical for any business to succeed. Gobi’s strategic LP network features some of the world’s leading companies in their respective fields, including Alibaba, Bosch, IBM, Disney (via Steamboat), Nokia, NTT Docomo, SONY and Unilever. On many occasions, these relationships have led to significant business synergies or even M&A opportunities with portfolio companies. We have been exceptionally fortunate in building these relationships, and are grateful for our partners’ support.
